Wednesday Night's Dinner





Dinner – Wednesday

Decided to head downstairs to Brillant for another wonderful dinner…and yes, it was!

For starters this time, I ordered ofkes – baked potatoes split in half and then topped by pesto and parmesan cheese. Robert ordered the equivalent of an egg roll stuffed with spices and Greek cheese. We split them – and to be honest, that was a meal in itself!

Our main courses were: Me – glazed pork fillets served on rocket lettuce and fried potatoes. R had flounder with spinach and said it was wonderful, all washed down by a really lovely bottle of Greek cabernet sauvignon. We were WAY too stuffed to even think about dessert!

Tomorrow we have to pack up and leave our lovely hotel and head east to Sitea. More later!

NOTE to All! We've opened the Sitia Bay Hotel here in Sitia -- and I mean literally, we are their FIRST guests of the season! The place is lovely -- family run; very nice -- but internet connection is minimal -- and so far must be done from either the roof or the pool deck -- doesn't work in our room! So, for the next couple of nights, I'll only be checking in once or twice a day! Sorry!!
